BERLIN (Reuters) – Europe wants to consider creating a man-made intelligence firm that is ready to sustain with international rivals, German Financial system Minister Peter Altmaier instructed Tagesspiegel newspaper.
The paper on Friday quoted Altmaier as saying that applied sciences like autonomous driving had been attainable areas for such an organization, including that though Germany’s carmakers have begun teaming up “this in my opinion is not enough”.
An “own industrial player” may be wanted, Altmaier stated. “We are currently looking into this.”
